Kostovic has not dropped a set in Ankara, but all three wins came against players ranked outside the top 240. Her São Paulo win over No. 122 Darja Semenistaja is stronger evidence, though the recent run still looks cleaner than the opposition alone warrants.

Iatcenko has beaten No. 92 Renata Zarazua and come through qualifying wins over No. 130 Lucia Bronzetti and No. 136 Andrea Lazaro Garcia. In Ankara she recovered from a set down against Viktoria Hruncakova, then won her next two matches in straight sets.

The surface matters: Iatcenko has the more established hard-court record, while Kostovic’s strongest results have come on clay. Iatcenko to win at 2.11 is a price worth taking; it gives too much credit to Kostovic’s smooth Ankara path and too little to the level Iatcenko has handled.

The caution is real: Iatcenko’s opener was uneven, and Aryna Sabalenka overwhelmed her at the US Open with exceptional pace. That defeat does not show Kostovic can apply the same pressure, so this is a low-conviction pick, not a claim that Iatcenko should be favourite.
